With feet of clay that weigh me down I struggle on, numbed by my own existence. Is there no place within my soul to release me from the shackles of my inner prison?
Life is so rigid – so entombed, fortified with stone and mortar so none may rise above its mortal grip. Yet from within, unseen, unspoken, a flower blooms to set us free.
